NTT acquired the German data center company e-shelter

3/3/2015, Japan NTT communications recently announced the acquisition of the German data center 

operators e-shelter 86.7% issued shares, so that the NTT has become the third largest of Europe data 

center operators.

E-shelter currently has an area of 90000 square meters of data center in Germany, Switzerland and 

Austria, Austria Vienna, in which Germany Frankfurt data center covers an area of 60000 civilians, 

which is the largest European data center, including five buildings. This acquisition will further strengthen 

the ability of NTT Com to meet the European data center and cloud computing business needs. Market 

research firm Gartner said European data center market annual growth reached more than 9%.

NTT Com earlier in the UK, France, Germany, Spain have data center facilities.
